Dreams Have the Power to Heal Your Life

Dreams have the power to illuminate the mind and encourage the soul in a more effective manner than almost anything else. Many people often wake from a dream wondering exactly what it means and, though some have not trained themselves to know and understand dream symbolism and interpretation, there is always a part of a person's spirit that knows exactly what the message of the dream was.

It is as though dreams are not just images and some dreams have no audio at all. There is moreso a steady vibration of emotion that dreams convey; and even if one is not aware of the definition of dream elements as they are defined by resources such as dream dictionaries, the composition of the soul still receives the message and can subconsciously respond.

Few dreams have no meaning at all; most are a reflection of how the person is feeling at that moment, and many can be instruction and guidance on how to achieve whatever task the person is currently trying to obtain.

There is much to be said about the power of dreams as being an experience worthy of evaluation. Evaluating dreams for a period of time can help a person better understand exactly how the structure of their slumber-time feature film is composed and the plot line of the movie it is trying to convey.

To begin understanding dreams and using their messages to improve daily life, begin by making a diary of your dreams. It is less rare than often that a person wakes from a dream and cannot remember it at all. In order to reduce this likelihood even further, it is important to have a notepad and writing instrument right next to the bed so when the person wakes, they can immediately begin writing. At times, it’s not even necessary to rise or initiate the mind for the day prior to writing down the dream. In doing so, a person is able to more easily capture all of its events, details and, most importantly, a sense of the emotion and overall message being communicated throughout the dream.

The events that occur in the dream can sometimes be metaphorical instances serving as a stage in which the details of emotional charge can act out a scene. This means that it is important for you to focus on things that you see as standing out and being important within the dream. A broad overview of the scenario will allow a very quick and clear vision of the strongest images within the dream to stand out. They may be very simple things such as color or something “larger than life,” but whatever it is, identifying it will be very direct.

Here are some ideas on how to begin to notice stand-out elements:
What is it that hooked the dreamer’s attention most during the dream?
Was it the way someone spoke or how they interacted in a memorable way?
Was it the ambiance of the setting itself that seemed to send a communication to the dreamer? Did it have something to say?

The events within the dream are trying to communicate something in a very focused way, and often what occurs in the dream can be a direct reflection of what is occurring in the person’s life. For example, if the dreamer feels they are waiting around in daily life for something that is not present, perhaps they dream that they have to wait to get a table when they arrive at a restaurant...to the point of annoyance. If there is much food spread out in the room with the dreamer never having the opportunity to eat, perhaps there are elements and resources surrounding that person in their real life but they feel they cannot grab hold and enjoy them.

The emotions felt throughout the dream are the most important characteristic to look toward when determining a dream’s meaning. Does it feel lonely at the table that you have? Do you feel that it was not the first choice and would have rather gone to a five-star restaurant? Are you sitting with someone whom you didn’t expect to see? By evaluating the emotions felt within the details of the events, a much more accurate interpretation of the meaning can occur.

Though the accuracy of dream dictionaries cannot be definitively expressed, they can help in giving some guidance to beginners who are trying to understand the power of their dreams. With a bit of determination and focus, one can levy the guidance of their dream life in order to enhance and make positive shifts in many areas of their life. If you are new to dream interpretation, take a look at the dream dictionaries below for a little help getting started. Be sure to always place your own internal knowledge in the driver’s seat and do not accept any information that does not ring true to your soul. You may learn something that is not-so-fabulous if you are in the early stages of the ascension process, but keep in mind that your inner guidance is letting you know about these things for a reason. If you are receiving some corrective information just turn the situation around by using that information as contrast appearing to help you get on the road you truly desire. Tally ho!
